Load Testing
Toshiba has the capability to assist in many cases when a problem exists and this can easily be resolved if the client could verify the issue with the actual load.
In these cases, it could involve a troubleshooting day when the machine is not behaving correctly, or when a performance verification is necessary and cost-effective before installing many units into service.
Toshiba has a state of art VSD / Motor load testing centre located at our premises in Winston Hills, NSW. This centre was built in 2010 and is fully automated to undertake load testing of motors to IEC and AS standards. It is also fully equipped with energy efficient technology to recycle the power back to its testing system, eg. It only consumes 30% of the power from the grid while testing the application at its full output.
This test centre does not only form part of our QA process in Toshiba, but it also helps customers troubleshoot and assists engineers while undertaking new product development. In recent years, thanks to our experienced Toshiba testing technicians and engineers, we have managed to assist LNG customers to perform VSD and motor combination load testing, allowing them to verify and confirm suitability for use in their hazardous areas.
