Heavy Ion Therapy

Toshiba’s first experience with the Heavy Ion Beam was in 1984 in developing the Heavy Ion Medical Accelerator in Chiba, Japan. The "HIMAC" project, was the world's first medical Heavy ion therapy system. 30 years have now passed and Toshiba currently delivers this equipment across the world. We also aim to provide treatment equipment, which is gentle on patients and can be used by customers with a sense of security and ease of use.
